Goat Milk Soap 4oz
This handcrafted cold process soap is enriched with goat milk, creating an exceptionally creamy and nourishing bar perfect for sensitive or dry skin. Goat milk naturally contains vitamins A and D, gentle exfoliating lactic acid, and moisturizing fatty acids that help support a healthy skin barrier. When incorporated into the soapmaking process, it produces a rich, velvety lather and a soothing, luxurious feel.
A wholesome blend of oils and butters—such as shea butter for deep hydration and coconut oil for cleansing and lather—works together to create a balanced, skin-loving bar. Many makers also incorporate grass-fed tallow, valued for its creamy texture, hardness, and compatibility with the skin’s natural oils.
The soap is created by carefully combining sodium hydroxide (lye) with frozen goat milk to maintain its nutrients and prevent scorching. Once the lye–milk solution cools, it is mixed with the melted oils and butters, then blended to “trace.” At this stage, pure essential oils may be added to infuse the soap with a natural, aromatherapeutic scent.
After being poured into molds, the bars cure for 4–6 weeks, allowing excess moisture to evaporate and the soap to become firm, mild, and long-lasting.
The result is a creamy, gentle, naturally nourishing soap that leaves skin feeling soft, clean, and refreshed—perfect for those seeking a wholesome, traditional, and handcrafted cleansing experience.
